OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES OF USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE EDUCATION

Abstract

This article provides a scientific and theoretical analysis of the role, opportunities, and emerging challenges of artificial intelligence (AI) in English language education. In today’s digital educational environment, AI-based technologies are creating new opportunities for improving the content, methods, and organisational forms of teaching and learning English. The article substantiates the need to view artificial intelligence not as an end in itself, but as a tool that serves the effective implementation of pedagogical objectives in English language education. The study proposes a human-centred, pedagogically oriented, and responsible model for integrating AI into English language education.
