METHODOLOGY FOR DEVELOPING STUDENTS’ PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES IN PAINTING CLASSES

Abstract
This article examines the methodological significance of painting classes in developing students’ professional competencies. It shows that learning color, form, light–shadow relations, and composition enhances students’ observational skills, creative thinking, technical proficiency, independent decision-making, and the ability to analyze their own work. The study explains the effectiveness of methods aimed at understanding color relationships, analyzing nature, completing creative tasks, solving problem-based situations, and developing communication and presentation skills. The article demonstrates how competency-based approaches in teaching painting contribute to students’ professional development.
