Abstract

This article discusses the expression of concepts related to the sense of smell through nouns, adjectives, verbs, and phrases, their unique semantic features, the use of metaphor and metonymy in their methods of meaning transfer, as well as the important role these words and phrases play in human understanding and expression of the world.
