Abstract

ABSTRACT. This article scientifically analyzes the theoretical and methodological foundations for developing competencies in the social rehabilitation of youth with deviant behavior among students majoring in pedagogy. The study examines the pedagogical and psychological essence of the deviant behavior phenomenon, the social, moral, and communicative factors underlying behavioral deviations among young people, as well as the issues related to the professional preparation of future teachers in the process of their resocialization. Furthermore, the scholarly perspectives of both foreign and national researchers are comparatively analyzed, and the significance of communicative competence, suggestive pedagogy, reflective practice, emotional intelligence, and socio-pedagogical cooperation is substantiated on a scientific basis. The article also explores effective methods for facilitating the social adaptation of deviant youth and fostering their social engagement and moral stability through the enhancement of correctional-pedagogical training among pedagogy students.
