ROADS AND CITIES: THE TASHKENT OASIS IN THE MIDDLE AGES

Abstract

Abstract: The article examines the communication system of the Tashkent oasis, including its caravan routes, the development of urbanization and urban planning culture, and its participation in international relations via the Great Silk Road are examined based on an analysis of written sources and historical archaeological data. The oasis's historical geographical the historical geographical boundaries of the oasis and the role of the natural landscape in its relations with neighboring regions are discussed.
