UDC 378.147 METHODOLOGY FOR DEVELOPING PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE BASED ON A COMPETENCY-BASED APPROACH IN TEACHING THE SUBJECT “AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY”

Abstract

Abstract. This article analyzes the methodology for developing students’ professional competence based on a competency-based approach in teaching the subject “Agricultural Machinery.” The importance of integrating theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and industry-oriented training in the development of professional competence is highlighted. In addition, the use of problem-based learning, project-based instruction, laboratory and practical training, and digital simulation technologies is examined. The results of the study indicate that the competency-based approach contributes to the development of students’ technical thinking, engineering decision-making abilities, and practical competence.
