METHODS OF PSYCHOTHERAPY
Main Article Content
Abstract
Many methods are used in psychotherapy. Depending on the type of disease, the therapist determines the technique. During psychotherapy, a person discovers their feelings, weaknesses, and areas that can be improved. During psychotherapy sessions, the patient is led by a specialist therapist. The therapist guides the patient in sessions to find the right option. The goal is for the person to get to know themselves intimately during these sessions. During therapy sessions the patient is never criticized or judged. In addition, the therapist should not behave during the session in a way that undermines the patient's self-confidence. The therapist must establish a trusting relationship with the patient. Thus, the patient should easily tell the therapist everything about his life. If this confidence cannot be achieved, the person cannot continue with therapy.
