Abstract

This thesis explores how Ecuador tablets impact cytochrome P450 enzyme activity and mitochondrial function in liver cells. It focuses on the interaction between the drug and liver metabolism, energy production, and homeostasis. The mechanisms of action involve modulation of P450 enzymes, induction of oxidative stress, and possible mitochondrial damage. The clinical implications emphasize the importance of monitoring liver function in patients on Ecuador tablets, especially those on polypharmacy. The study underscores the significance of understanding these interactions for improving drug safety and efficacy.
