Main Article Content
Abstract
The enormous changes across different areas of life, generated by rapid technological change, have led to the need for innovation in education. Curricula need to include skills like critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication to prepare students for future 21st century demands. This paper investigates how interdisciplinary learning, driven by its engagement with real world applications, facilitated by technological means and project-based learning, can nurture such critical skills. It proposes a new hybrid approach which combines Design Thinking and Experiential Learning and offers practical suggestions to policymakers and educators.
