Abstract
One of the most well-known Sufi writers, Jalaluddin Rumi's works intensely probe the ideas of love and spiritual perfection. His poetry offers a philosophical and metaphysical viewpoint on human life and heavenly connection going beyond basic literary representation. This paper investigates Rumi's idea of love and investigates its philosophical and spiritual aspects as well as its relationship to self-awareness and search of ultimate truth. His songs show love as a power guiding a person to inner spiritual elevation and divine connection, not only as an emotion. This article clarifies the significance of Rumi's lessons in forming moral and spiritual ideals by analysing the primary motifs and symbolic interpretations of his poetry. The study also addresses the relevance of Rumi's philosophy in contemporary culture, especially its significance in enabling individuals to seek for meaning and reach inner peace. Emphasising moral instruction and spiritual development, Jalaluddin Rumi's works constitute a main component of Sufi literature [1]. As the basic principles of human perfection, his ideology supports kindness and purity as well as personal development. Deep philosophical and religious origins abound in Sufism, sometimes known as Islamic mysticism, and its evolution has been much shaped by eminent people as Hasan Basri, Rumi, and Shabistari [2]. Widely discussed in the writings of Rumi, Ghazali, and Nasafi [3], the idea of the ideal human being (komil insan) is one of the core emphasis of Sufi teachings. Supporting intellectual and moral development even in times of persecution, Sufism has been crucial in the formation of spiritual values and socio-philosophical thinking in Central Asia [4]. These studies highlight the continuing relevance of Sufism in forming moral and spiritual values in contemporary society.[1]

Introduction
One of the most important figures in Sufi literature, Jalaluddin Rumi's poetry still inspires academics, spiritual searchers, and book lovers all around. Living in the 13th century, Rumi evolved his own original concept of love and spiritual perfection, which he mainly articulated in his great works, the Diwan-i-Shams and the Masnavi. Deeply anchored in the basic Sufistic ideas, his poems show love as a basic force on the road to self-realization and ultimate truth. Rumi talks about love as a spiritual entity existing outside of the physical world. Love, in his view, is a deeply spiritual trip a person travels inside their inner world to reach spiritual cleansing and divine oneness. Love is shown in his works as a complicated phenomenon and as a road towards truth interpretation. Rumi's writings show how incomplete human life is without the search of heavenly truth. One of the most potent instruments available to transcend human shortcomings and result in spiritual development is love. Rumi's philosophical and mystical opinions on love and spiritual perfection are examined in this paper. It looks at how the poet's works could direct those on moral development and inner peace. It also examines Rumi's philosophy's applicability in contemporary culture, especially in relation to the search for meaning and reaching spiritual serenity. Based on literary and philosophical study, this work seeks to show why Rumi's lessons remain applicable.
Methodology
Based on the qualitative analysis technique, this study intends to investigate Rumi's poetry's ideology of love and spiritual perfection. Literary analysis, philosophical-observational approach, historical and contextual analysis, as well as thematic analysis techniques, constitute the primary methodological approaches of the work. These techniques enable Rumi's opinions on love to be thoroughly examined, their relevance in the present society and their conception as a holy experience investigated.

Among Rumi's most well-known compositions—including the Masnavi and Diwan Shams—as well as other poetry inspired by his spiritual philosophy—primary sources
Secondary sources: monographs and dissertations devoted to Sufi literature, philosophy, and Rumi's teachings; scientific papers
Using the conceptual analysis approach, the study also compared Rumi's ideas about love and spiritual perfection with those of other representatives of mystical thinking.

Renunciation of the self and spiritual purification - the concept of abandoning the self and elevating human qualities through Rumi's mystical ideas.
Spiritual awakening through love - poetic images and symbols expressing the importance of love for the spiritual development of the human soul.
Literary and philosophical analysis - Rumi's style of describing love as the main tool for the spiritual elevation of a person was studied.
Historical and contextual analysis - the social and cultural situation of Rumi's time was analyzed and how his philosophy was formed in the environment of this period was studied.

• Comprehensive coverage of the topic - The focus was on analyzing Rumi's views on love not only in a poetic context, but also from a philosophical and religious perspective. This study used various scientific methods to analyze Rumi's poetry on love and spiritual perfection. Using thematic, literary, historical and philosophical analyses, Rumi's philosophy of love was deeply studied and its significance in the modern world was highlighted. The reliability of the data was ensured, and the research results contribute to scientific work on mystical literature.
Result
The results of this study, through an in-depth study of the concept of love and spiritual perfection in Rumi's poetry, have revealed the following main conclusions. In Rumi's mystical poetry, love is depicted as the most important force that leads a person to spiritual purification and divine truth. During the study, the main themes in works such as the Masnavi and Divani Shams were analyzed and divided into the following areas.
Interpretation of love as a path to divine truth
In Rumi's poetry, love is depicted not only as a human feeling, but also as a force that directs one to divine truth. In his poems, love is shown as a process of the human soul connecting with the divine world. For example:
"Because of love, I lost myself,
I lost myself and found myself again." (Masnavi)
This verse expresses the process of love, the process of a person losing his identity, abandoning his ego, and ultimately finding divine truth. The study showed that for Rumi, love is not only a collection of feelings, but also a means of spiritual elevation of the human soul.
Human and divine forms of love
Rumi describes love in two main forms:
• Human love – This is love between people, that is, friendship, affection and physical feelings.
• Divine love – This is the aspiration of the human heart towards God and the search for divine truth.

The influence of love on the internal transformation of man
In Rumi's poetry, love is interpreted as a force that leads man to internal transformation. He describes the spiritual purification of the human heart through love and its approach to divine truth. As an example, the following verse can be cited:
"The fire of love burns the heart,
It washes away all the dust." (Divani Shams)
In this verse, love means the light that illuminates the human heart, and this is the most important factor on the path to spiritual perfection. The study showed that in Rumi's works, love is interpreted as a force that frees man from his egoistic shell and leads him to absolute truth.
The connection between love and mysticism
In Rumi's poetry, love is considered one of the main foundations of the philosophy of mysticism. Drawing on mystical traditions, he describes love as a bridge between man and God. Love guides man on the path to self-realization and reaching truth.
This idea is also confirmed by mystics, and poets and thinkers like Rumi saw love as the main tool for the elevation of the human spirit.
The relevance of love in modern society
According to the results of the study, Rumi's philosophy of love remains relevant in modern society. Nowadays, people are turning to Rumi's ideas in search of the meaning of their lives, achieving inner peace and spiritual harmony.
Modern thinkers relate Rumi's philosophy to modern human life through the following aspects:
• Achieving inner peace - Rumi interprets love as a means of awakening and calming the human soul.
• Moral perfection - Rumi's ideas contribute to the elevation of moral values.
• Spiritual maturity and relief from stress - His teachings are also seen as a solution to the psychological problems of today's people.
• The study has shown that in Rumi's poetry, love is interpreted as a spiritual journey of man towards divine truth. His poems reflect the process of man's understanding of his identity, renunciation of ego, and reaching divine truth. The most important result of the study is that Rumi takes love beyond the boundaries of human feelings and describes it as the main means of spiritual and moral perfection.
Also, his ideas about love retain their significance not only in the historical and religious context but also in the life of modern society. This study helps to understand the relevance of mystical literature and philosophy more deeply.
Discussion
In the poetry of Jalaluddin Rumi, love is depicted as the most important means for a person to achieve spiritual perfection. The results of this study showed that Rumi's views on love, based on the foundations of mystical thought, represent the journey of the human soul towards divine truth.
The Role of Love on the Path of Human Perfection
The study showed that, according to Rumi, love purifies the human soul and frees it from sensual desires. He presents love not only as a physical feeling, but as the most important stage on the path of a person to divine truth. The poetic examples in Rumi's Masnavi and Diwan Shams suggest that love motivates a person to make fundamental changes. Through love, a person understands the deep meaning of his life, and this process leads him to perfection. This idea was also supported by other thinkers in the philosophy of Sufism. For example, Al-Ghazali also considered love a necessary factor for the elevation of the human spirit. Therefore, love is not only a personal experience, but a universal truth for all humanity.
The Interpretation of Human and Divine Love in Rumi's Poetry
The research revealed that love in Rumi's poetry manifests itself in two main forms:
• Human love - This represents the affection, friendship, and emotional connection between people.
• Divine love - This is the process of a person's love for God, spiritual awakening, and achievement of perfection.
Rumi blurs the boundaries between these two loves, presenting human love as a means to divine love. This mystical concept is found not only in Rumi's works, but also in the works of thinkers such as Ibn al-Arabi and Farid al-Din Attar.
The research showed that Rumi interprets love as a spiritual process that is higher than human relationships. In his poems, love encourages a person to abandon his ego, lose his "self" and strive for absolute truth. This idea is clearly reflected in the following verse:
"The fire of love burns the heart,

Here, love means the divine light that cleanses the human heart and is shown as the key to spiritual perfection.
The Importance of Love in Modern Society
The results of the study showed that Rumi's teachings remain relevant today. In particular, at a time when the problems of stress, mental anguish and spiritual emptiness are increasing in modern human life, Rumi's teachings on love can be a spiritual guide for people.
Nowadays, many thinkers and psychologists emphasize the importance of spiritual values in achieving inner harmony. Rumi's philosophy includes principles that lead a person to self-realization, spiritual peace and inner harmony. For example, today's famous personal development experts repeatedly quote Rumi's wise words, which proves the universality of his teachings.
In modern society, Rumi's ideas about love are important in the following aspects:
• Inner peace and spiritual harmony - Love is understood as a path that leads a person to inner harmony and divine truth.
• Relief from stress and depression - Love purifies the human soul and provides peace of mind.
• Formation of moral values - In Rumi's poetry, love is described as a path leading to moral perfection.
The Role of Rumi and Sufi Philosophy in Today's Research
This study has shown that Rumi's views on love are not limited to mystical thought. His ideas also appear as a bridge between Eastern and Western philosophy. Today, Rumi's works are widely studied in the West, and their psychological and philosophical aspects are being deeply analyzed. For example, scientific studies published in the United States and Europe are applying Rumi's teachings on love in psychotherapy and theories of human relations. According to the results of the research, Rumi's thoughts serve as an important resource for people to understand themselves, manage their emotions, and achieve spiritual maturity.
The results of the discussion section showed that Rumi's philosophy of love plays an important role in a person's pursuit of spiritual perfection. Love is described as the most important force that helps a person understand himself, renounce self, and move towards divine truth. The main idea in Rumi's poetry is that only through love can a person find his true identity and achieve spiritual maturity. In addition, Rumi's philosophy is of great importance not only from a historical perspective, but also in modern human life. His ideas about love play a significant role in finding answers to moral, spiritual, and philosophical problems in today's society. Thus, this study has become important in further understanding Rumi's teachings on love and demonstrating their contemporary relevance.
Conclusion
This study aimed to study the role and significance of the philosophy of love and spiritual perfection in the poetry of Jalaluddin Rumi. The results obtained showed that Rumi interprets love as the main tool on the path of human spiritual ascension. His poems describe the human soul's striving for divine truth, the process of self-realization and spiritual purification. According to the results of the study, Rumi's understanding of love is manifested in two main forms: human love and divine love. While human love represents friendship, love and emotional bonds in life, divine love reflects the process of the human soul's striving for God and the realization of divine truth. In Rumi's poetry, these two concepts are not separated from each other, but human love is shown as a means leading to divine love. The study revealed that love plays an important role in a person's self-realization and striving for spiritual perfection. Rumi's poems encourage a person to free himself from sensual desires, to abandon egoistic feelings and to move towards true truth. Through his poetic expressions, a person discovers his inner world, and love plays a key role in this process. In addition, the study showed that Rumi's views on love are also relevant for modern society. Today, people are turning to Rumi's philosophical ideas in search of the meaning of their lives, achieving spiritual harmony and finding inner peace. His teachings are also used in the fields of personal development, psychology and philosophical thinking. Thus, this study confirmed that Rumi's teachings on love are not only an important part of mystical literature, but also have an important role in the formation of universal human values. His poetry remains an invaluable heritage not only for his time, but also for today. Rumi considered love to be the highest spiritual experience of man, and his poems continue to inspire people today and encourage spiritual growth.
