THE CHALLENGES IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNING FOR NON-NATIVE SPEAKERS

Abstract
In our rapidly developing country, great attention is being paid to learning foreign languages. A clear example of this is the decree of our President “On Measures to Further Improve the System of Learning Foreign Languages,” which has strengthened the teaching of foreign languages to the younger generation in our country.However, just as every endeavor comes with its own challenges, learning foreign languages also has its difficulties. English, which holds a significant position in the world and ranks first among global languages, presents certain challenges for learners.It is no secret to anyone interested in learning English that the language has two main variants: American English and British English. While the people of these two regions use almost the same words, sentences, and phrases, there are significant differences in pronunciation between them. In addition,grammar, vocabulary,the abudance of words, and the differences between spelling and pronunciation.This given article discusses the problems encountered in the process of learning foreign languages and the solutions that can help prevent these issues.
