Abstract

This article explores the role and importance of didactic games in teaching English to middle school pupils. The use of games as a pedagogical tool not only enhances pupils’ motivation and interest but also facilitates the development of their language competencies in an engaging and supportive environment. The study analyzes the main objectives and benefits of incorporating didactic games into English lessons, including improvements in speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Moreover, it examines the challenges teachers face in integrating games effectively and offers recommendations for overcoming these barriers to achieve optimal learning outcomes.
