Abstract

This article discusses the impact of reading on the human mind and spiritual world. The book is interpreted as a source of knowledge for a person, an expander of thinking, and a moral educator. The author critically assesses the fact that modern youth are moving away from reading and are increasingly addicted to the Internet and technical means. The impact of fiction on the human psyche, the process of forming the reader's thinking through characters, is analyzed. The article substantiates the incomparable role of books in raising the younger generation as mature, spiritually perfect people. Especially in the education of young people, reading books is an important tool, and it is a key factor in the formation of a complete personality.
