Abstract

This article examines the multifaceted role of special educators within inclusive educational frameworks, analyzing their professional competencies, institutional challenges, and innovative pedagogical approaches. Through synthesis of international and regional scholarship, the research demonstrates that special educators function as essential mediators between policy ideals and classroom realities, requiring sophisticated diagnostic abilities, adaptive teaching methodologies, and collaborative skills. The analysis reveals persistent gaps in professional preparation and systemic support while identifying promising practices that enhance educational equity for learners with diverse needs.
