PEDAGOGICAL POTENTIAL OF THE COMMUNICATIVE METHOD IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE INSTRUCTION

Abstract
This article examines the pedagogical potential of the communicative method in teaching foreign languages. The study highlights its theoretical foundations, practical applications, and effectiveness in developing learners’ communicative competence. Emphasis is placed on how the method promotes active participation, interaction, and meaningful use of language in real-life contexts. Results suggest that the communicative method enhances both linguistic and pragmatic skills, making it a valuable approach in contemporary foreign language pedagogy.
