WAYS TO DEVELOP THE ENERGY SECTOR IN ENSURING "GREEN" ECONOMIC GROWTH

Abstract
This study examines the importance of transitioning Uzbekistan’s energy sector toward a green economy within the framework of the Uzbekistan-2030 Strategy. The research identifies major challenges, including fossil fuel dependence and outdated infrastructure, while emphasizing Uzbekistan’s high solar and wind potential. The study concludes that green energy development, supported by investment, digital technologies, and policy reforms, is essential for sustainable economic growth and environmental stability.
