Abstract

Abstract. This study presents a bibliometric analysis of research on controlled environment agriculture, artificial lighting systems, and rotating platform greenhouse concepts. The data were retrieved from the Scopus database and covered the period from 2020 to 2025. The initial dataset included 256 publications, of which 218 articles and review papers were selected after filtering by document type, language, publication stage, and relevance.

The results show a steady increase in scientific interest in controlled environment agriculture and LED-based lighting systems. The number of publications increased from 26 in 2020 to 55 in 2025. Keyword analysis revealed that the main research directions are related to photosynthesis, light intensity, light quality, hydroponics, plant factories, vertical farming, energy efficiency, and supplemental lighting. However, studies directly related to rotating or platform-based greenhouse systems remain limited.

The findings indicate that rotating platform greenhouses integrated with artificial lighting systems represent an emerging research direction. Such systems can improve light distribution, space utilization, and automation in greenhouse crop production.
