Abstract

Annotation: This article addresses contemporary challenges in ensuring occupational health and safety (OHS) at high-risk industrial facilities and explores digital solutions to mitigate them. To overcome the limitations of the human factor inherent in traditional monitoring, the study analyzes AI-driven intelligent visual monitoring systems. Specifically, the research models real-time mechanisms for tracking personal protective equipment (PPE) compliance—such as helmets, protective clothing, and safety harnesses—alongside automated detection of unauthorized entry into hazardous zones. Furthermore, the paper offers actionable recommendations on the organizational, methodological, and legal frameworks required to integrate these advanced systems into national industrial enterprises

Keywords: Hazardous industrial facilities, occupational safety, intelligent visual systems, artificial intelligence, personal protective equipment, monitoring, human factor, helmet, technogenic risk.
