USING TECHNOLOGY IN LANGUAGE TESTING: OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES

Abstract
This article analyzes the role, opportunities, and challenges of modern technologies in language testing. It explores the impact of digital platforms, online testing systems, and artificial intelligence-based assessment tools on the educational process. The article examines the advantages of technology in accelerating the assessment process, increasing its objectivity, and enhancing interactivity. At the same time, it analyzes internet problems, technical failures, and difficulties associated with academic integrity. It also highlights the role of teachers and students in the digital assessment process, and provides conclusions on creating an effective language testing system.
