Main Article Content
Abstract
This article examines the linguistic, linguopragmatic, and discursive features of insulting speech on social media through an integrated approach. It explores the mechanisms through which insults are expressed at the lexical-semantic, morphological, syntactic-pragmatic, graphic-orthographic, and multimodal levels in digital communication. Particular attention is paid to explicit and implicit forms of insult, irony, sarcasm, stereotyping, provocative speech, and derogatory expressions conveyed through visual signs. The article also considers the criteria for distinguishing insulting speech from criticism, emotionally charged swearing, threats, and defamatory statements.
