FEATURES OF FUNCTIONAL POLYVALENCE OF THE PROVERBS

Abstract
This article theoretically explains the features of the functional polyvalence of proverbs. Adverbs corresponding to a complete sentence are characterized by a certain functional purpose, that is, they are a potential multiplier of any speech act, for example, threats, encouragements, justifications, etc. Such a pragmatic function is the main goal paremic units, and it is emphasized that it is considered a unique “pragmeme” - accordingly it is emphasized that ready-made repeating formulas are considered for speech acts.
