DEVELOPING PUPILS' INTELLECTUAL COMPETENCES THROUGH INTERNATIONAL ASSESSMENT PROGRAMS

Abstract
The article provides information on the content and essence of international
assessment programs such as PISA, PIRLS, EGMA, EGRA, TIMSS and TALIS, discusses the
issues of developing students' intellectual potential through international assessment programs.
Also, government decisions within the framework of international assessment programs and
their content are taken into account.
