ENGLISH BORROWINGS IN THE KARAKALPAK LANGUAGE: INFLUENCE, SCOPE, AND LINGUISTIC ADAPTATION IN THE AGE OF GLOBALIZATION

Abstract
This article investigates the influence and scope of English borrowings in the Karakalpak language in the context of globalization. As technological advancements and new cultural trends emerge, languages inevitably adopt new terms to describe these phenomena. English, being a dominant international language, has greatly impacted the Karakalpak language, particularly in the domains of information technology, education, business, and lifestyle. The study classifies the borrowings into thematic-lexical groups and analyzes their integration into Karakalpak grammar and syntax. The research also discusses the need for a balanced approach to the incorporation of foreign terms into the Karakalpak language, emphasizing linguistic preservation alongside innovation.
